meaning: Things are out of control
It's a bit old-fashioned but people still use it sometimes, at least I do.

We have something that looks like it:
"A vaca foi pro brejo"
Literal: the cow went [in]to the swamp
Meaning: something like "Things are out of control" or "That was the last straw"

My Spanish teacher used to say "Me cago en la mierda!" ("I crapped on the shit!") When she messed up on
something. It was something I heard often.
There are others, but I can't think of them right now.
