Many of the women here have a user name that sound like it could be male. The profile does not indicate gender. So there are amore women than you think in this forum!
The assertion that there are more male than female polyglot is also ludicrous. Europe is full of polyglot women who think nothing of it. For example, those who live in a bilingual country and speak fluent English are triglots with very little effort. Add some school French, German, Russian, Spanish to that and they speak four languages! It's a well known fact that women have a better ear for languages and men have are better at science. Finally, most women are not quite as excessive and obsessive about their hobbies as men (no time!) so they may not be taking the language study to the extreme. Ok, I will ignore him. It's not a problem to do this because I don't like people who're prejudiced or people who accuse me of things which I didn't. Dark sunshine, I hadn't the report button as well, but about 2 weeks ago it's appeared. some people have it but others havne't. I will report Kenski now. oh well... if you are reading this thread, the latter is definitely true (joke joke! please don't take it serious... given the current atmosphere here I do wanna state that) I also would like to drop by and mention I am a female language learner... actually I am a transgender female language learner (how many of those are here :p ... though well maybe it gets some of the flak of the girls here, come bash the trannie - another joke, just to be clear) Ah well, I also wanted to mention: don't feed the trolls... but maybe of all people I shouldn't be the one to say so ^_^ 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

Hoi ennime dat is grappig dat je dus kunt zeggen dat je vrouwelijk en/of mannelijk taalstudent(e) bent LOL!! Die handige keuze hebben mensen meestal niet. ik vind het verschrikkelijk wanneer mensen anderen uitlachen of tegen hun zijn door bepaalde redenen zoals veroordelingen. Ik zal zeker niet de troll voeden het was mijn bedoeling ook niet maar ik ben niet zo slim met zulke dingen. mensen lachen me vaak uit en waarschijnlijk doet hij dat ook denk ik nu (de troll).
