manish: I fully agree... I'm on my second year with French and have not scratched the surface and have no
clue on how guys like this do it. It is impressive but yes a bit demoralizing :)

As for me, the "demoralizing part" is yet to come - but it will soon arrive with the next
video, I guess! For the sake of this wonderful community of language learners I belong
to, I might provide Luca with the audio transcription of the first three videos...

I used to, but I understand that if I only put in more hours I'd learn anything I wanted. I do think that there are people who can learn much faster than others, but it doesn't discourage me anymore.

My view is that there's ALWAYS someone that knows more than me and I'll never catch up to them.
It doesn't get me down, because I'm probably better than them at something else. That's just life.
