Progress made in Italian during the last 2 weeks:
I missed last week's update as I spend a few wonderful days in Italy. I totally fell in love with Florence and absolutely want to go back there, possibly for a summer course if I get the chance. I ate way too much delicious Italian food and spoke Italian as much as I could. I understood everybody and everybody understood me which is really encouraging. We took the tourist bus in Florence and I listened to the commentary in Italian, I understood almost every word and I also had the feeling that I understand Italian TV much better than before, not quite every word, I still have trouble with some idiomatic expressions, but my listening comprehension is definitely improving. I'm on Assimil lesson 92 now and on page 110 of my phrasebook. 1 person has voted this message useful |
