You guys are so funny! I have missed this. I've actually never watched Buffy the series, but I did see the movie, and it was funny--does that count? But overall I'm with Kinan on this one: give me Fight Club or American Beauty any day...unless it's in a foreign language. Then I'll watch and listen to everything that I wouldn't be caught dead consuming in English. :)

Yeah, American Beauty is one of my favourite movies too. I've been thinking about it though and I think my all-time favourite is "Adaptation", directed by Spike Jonze and written by Charlie Kaufman. I thought that movie was just pure genius. Also really like "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and lots of other philosophical movies, by the by. Why wouldn't Gemini people like philosophical stuff? I always heard they were geared towards abstract thought. But I don't know much about astrology so...
Do you guys watch English language films dubbed in another language? I personally can't stand dubbing in general, so I always watch films and even series in the original language, even if I don't know it (with subtitles of course!) It's one of the reasons I want to learn more languages actually. And definitely one of the things that helped me learn English. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Well, Joan, Gemini people are known for being shallow, ofcourse some Geminis are fortunate to have other effects from Taurus or Cancer if they are cuspeans.
I have studied astrology for 3 years now and i rarely if ever was wrong in guessing someone's sign, and i actually guessed Jenny's sign, you can ask her if you don't believe me ;) i don't like dubbed movies either, i like to hear the original voices and language and read the subtitles. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Kinan, you’ve had a unique experience today. You managed to hurt two girls with one stroke.
Needleless to say that joanthemaid is a Gemini too. I’ve just established direct contact with Providence to check out such a trivial thing.:)) (Believe you me I have not asked her such silly questions). Moreover being a Gemini myself without any effects from Taurus or Cancer , I’m going to commit a suicide on this site ... since what is the use to be a complete «shallow» idiot without any chance of becoming smarter.:))) As for the films, Fight Club is a good one ( I’m watching it right now). But you should not expect from girls watching only suchlike stuff. They are more interested in relationship, intercourse, communication than in «bare» thoughts, facts or acts. That is why they will be always watching serials, soap operas, etc. with extensive «trivial dialogs». Certainly, they can easily pretend to share your tastes, but only in case they find it interesting for themselves. By the way, thanks everybody for other movie titles. Seriously, Joan and Qua are really smart girls. Looks like your Astrology does not take into account all the ecliptic changes over the centuries to call them “shallow”. Additionally, I can recommend you a course of "Science and sanity" by Korzybski to become a bit less superstitions dependent.
