Where do you watch the movies with arabic subtitles? from internet or tv?
Also, i have never heard of such name بكار!!
Take care Jenny, i will go to sleep now.
Good luck in your studies.

Oh, I'm glad that you like "Cuarteto de nos!" Yes, so of course my Spanish is not good enough aurally to get song lyrics like that on the first listen, but I certainly caught "Me amo." And I thought, "Ah, how sweet!" And then I thought, "Wake up! He's saying 'ME amo,' not 'TE amo.' What is going on in this song?" And then when I read the lyrics I cracked up, and ever since then it's been on the Sprachjunge Winter 2010 cycle.

Hi Jenny, how are you today?
I am confused where to write since you sum all the posts of all the threads of the world in one place..and i hate to be confused. :P
Thanks for your wishes about meeting my love.
I have never visited Argentina, but i hope i will some day, Argentina is about passion really.
River and Boca now are like puppies, they used to dominate the Argentinian football for decades and now they can't even get the 10th place.
My fav players are Batistuta and Ayala, and as for River, i love Gallardo and Ortega, the rest are too toung now.
Atleast we're gonna support the same team in world cup, i supported Argentina since i was 6 (1990), and i know everything about the team and never miss a match although most of their matches are 3am my time.
New zealand made a surprise really to qualify but i believe they will return back home very soon :P
I know about that site you mentioned but thanks anyway.
as for recommendations.
well, i don't really listen to arabic music, i don't like it, i listen to nu metal mostly..and i tihnk you won't get much benifit from listening to arabic songs, they are all the same, about love and such crap..and nowdays, all singers are females and all of them wear almost nothing and sing in silly erotic ways..dummies.
who are the koubaba or something? never heard of them?
i know rachid though, not bad but not my type either.
now to the movies, you mean arabic movies? or channels with arabic subtitles to american movies? i don't think you have the Nilesat satelite where you live, it's full of movie channels with arabic subtitles.
as for arabic movies, i also don't watch them haha..but nearly 99% of arabic movies are egyptian so it won't help you much, but i recommend you watch syrian serials, they are very popular in all the arab world, and they all talk in syrian dialect..visit the mbc channel website, i think they have load of them.
Good luck in learning arabic, you will need it :)

I have a question for you Jenny since you know Spanish much better than me.
in this article in lingq, the following phrases were written:
La cliente: Buenos días, ¿tienen estos pantalones en la talla 40?
La dependienta: Un momento, ahora se lo miro en el almacén Sí, aquí los tiene.
When she said "ahora se lo miro en el almacen", what "lo" and "se" indicates here, isn't se indicates to the pantalones? then what "lo" is doing here?
I really hate these se, lo, le and stuff, they are confusing.
Thanks in advance :)

I think I could probably make some German podcast recommendations. What do you like to listen to? Everyday dialogues? Business German? Comedy? Let me know! :)
