I've seen several honourable mentions of "Dick Condon" in the news over the years, including a New York police commissioner, a Norfolk Pavilion theatre manager, and this sporty young fellow from yesteryear.

And then of course there is the Austrian (or was it German) town of W-a-n-k-i-n-g (sic - sorry for the hyphens, apparently the text is automatically censored here !*) that needs a steady supply of new signs from the factory cause the signs are nicked as souvenirs by British tourists just as fast as they can put them up again.

New life goal: Get one of those signs.

Barack Obama, when you pronounce it in Polish and think a little bit, you might be surprised...
By the way, George Bush and Jimmy Carter - when translated into Polish might sound funny, too.

I know an Englishman called Dick Head.
There's a US Congressman named Dick Sweat. And a former football player named Dick Butkus.

Anyone with the surname of "吴" (wu) will have to name their children with great care since it rhymns with "无" which means not, void, empty or in some cases anti-.

For example, I have met a person whose name is 吴俊杰 which actually sounds like "a person who is neither handsome (俊) nor heroic (杰)".
