I have this vague memory of the Lithuanian being "Aš tave myliu". I had the opportunity to hang out with some Lithuanian girls when I was 16 and they taught me a handful of things in Lithuanian (as it's a heritage language for me), and I've always remembered that, though the spelling may be off.

Haha, I sadly must agree with pkany! 'I Love You' in Vietnamese depends on whether you
are a male or female.

Male to female: Anh yêu em!
Female to male: Em yêu anh!

Or in the old Chữ Nôm script:

Wow, vietnamese added a heart to "need"! How sweet!

Hähä! Actually the first character was borrowed to mean 'older brother, older male, male lover' because this particular character is pronounced exactly the same in Vietnamese. 英 means 'brave' and is pronounced anh also. Therefore we borrowed it for its sound only. The second character is a semantic-phonetic (meaningful-sound) character. 要 is pronounced yêu or yếu in Vietnamese. The word 'to love' just happens to be yêu! However, we added a heart radical to differentiate it. Besides, what is love without a heart? 愛 is love, 爱 is a silly character I think. Finally, the last character is pronounced em and means 'younger sister, younger female, female lover'. 俺 was an old Chinese pronoun meaning 'I, me' and in Vietnamese is pronounced yêm. However, we borrowed it to mean 'younger brother, younger male' em which is a similar pronunciation. Therefore, to distinguish between a male and female, we created a new character with a female radical instead.
