Ooops! Time is up. I'm moving back to Toronto the week after next.
If anyone has any great suggestions for Cantonese learning materials, let me know so I can stock up while I'm here
in Hong Kong.

Wow, Jimbo, I didn't know a move was in the cards for you. Is this good news?
You'll have to hit the streets this week and practice Cantonese non-stop. Of course, I imagine you have a few
things to do to get yourself and the family ready to move halfway across the world. Good luck with all you have to
do.

Thanks Li Fei.
The good news is that I'm moving to Toronto. Tons of chances to practice Cantonese and the other languages I'm
working on.
I'm slammed busy getting ready for the move but I'm started to feel pretty excited about it. Time for Cantonese
classes via Skype.

Still alive, just not posting much. Settling in to Toronto. Study schedule totally messed up. Oh well. Fell off
horse. Get back on.

A break usually means you'll just be that much more productive now.
What will you be doing in Toronto?

Gotta get a job, a house, and a dog. Once I get the job sorted, I'll be productive with the language study. I hope.
I've spent most of the time since 1990 in East Asia. Need to spend some time with family and old friends while they
are still around.
Summers are great here but I've always managed to get more studying done in the winter when it is FREEZING.

You are far enough along that you can afford a little break. Bet there are lots of languages being spoken
around you if you're in Toronto proper; it struck me as a very international city. Watch out for wanderlust!

Wanderlust? Funny you mention that.
Can you somehow see the Italian, Turkish, and Arabic books I scored from the library? (Superb library system with
great inter-library loans available...)
Focus is going to be a problem. I'm trying to focus on brushing up my French right now.
