I would like to join a team. I am focusing 95% of my efforts on Russian where I suppose I am at a A1 to A2 level. I suppose I also should try to improve my German and Italian which are slipping/need developing, and keep up my French, which is ok. in its oral form, but needs some extra work on the written part. If I can help a beginner in Spanish I am quite willing to do so, or to have conversations or correspondence with someone who speaks it well and just needs maintenance.
So Russian is my main focus, but if you do several languages in the same group I am happy to participate with both what I know and what I need to learn.

I would also like to join a team!!!
I think we should start an official TAC '11 thread though, to get teams together. I am more than willing to do so!
For me PERSONALLY:
German: Go from a high B2 to C1/C2 by the end of June.
Russian: C2 by the end of the year.
Swedish: Go from higher A2 to B2.
Greek: A2 by the summer, and see where it goes from there.
Georgian: A2/B1 by the end of the year.
These languages are in order by priority, BTW.

I'm up for TAC. My plans are such for 2011:
Arabic: Complete novice --> A2
Italian: B1 --> B2/C1
French: A2 --> B2
German: A1 --> B1
Russian: A1 --> B1
I am not really sure if I want to participate in a team or go it solo, but at this point I am up for a team
concept. The more ideas I can get from others the better! Happy Holidays to all!

I'd like to join a team for next year also. My main language which I'll be focusing on throughout the year is
Spanish. I'd say I'm currently somewhere around the A2/B1 level, and as I'll be doing intermediate Spanish at uni
for a semester, and also as there is a good chance I'll be spending the second half of the year in a Spanish
speaking country, will be spending the majority of my time on Spanish. Looking to start spending a good deal of
time on the speaking side of things also, as that's my weakest part of the language.
However I think I may start Polish next year also, which would only be a 30 to 60 minute a day type thing, due to
uni commitments, but will definitely be a bit of fun on the side. And will also keep doing my bit of Dutch every
now and then, basically just to maintain the vocabulary and things I've already learnt.
Goals:
Spanish - from A2/B1, to atleast a solid B2, and hopefully a decent C1.
Polish - No previous knowledge, to say A1/A2. Just a basic knowledge, a laying down of the ground work
for future more serious studies so to speak, and so that when I go down to the Polish deli I'll be able to have a
brief chat about general day to day type things with the people there, and order my wonderful food for the the
week in Polish.
Dutch - At present around A2/B1, and just wish to maintain this level, possibly build upon it if I have
the time.
Nice work for getting next years TAC moving Sierra.

Here is the present layout of participants. For the Team Challenge I’ve organized it by language and then listed each person who will be studying that language. I’ve excluded those who said that they are only maybe studying the language, or just maintaining it. For the Individual Challenge, I’ve organized it by participant, listing their study languages along with their name.

If you are wishing to participate in a 2011 TAC Challenge but don’t see your name on one of these lists, please announce your participation in this thread. If you notice any errors at all, please point them out to me and I’ll fix them right away.
Specific Concerns:
magictom123 – Would you like me to add you to the German and/or French lists?
Lianne – Do you want to be listed for Toki Pona as well? I was unsure as to whether you will be continuing to study that in 2011.
Solfrid Cristin - I was unsure whether you wanted to be added to the German, Italian, and/or French lists as well. Shall I do that?
Oasis88 – I’ve added you in for Italian in the Team Challenge. Is this alright or would you prefer the Individual Challenge?

I'd like to join a team. My goals are:
Priority: French A1 -> B2
Secondary: Persian novice -> A2. I already know Arabic, so I hope this won't be too hard.
ellasevia, Please add me to French and Persian. Thanks!

I've been lurking for awhile and I'm really excited for TAC 2011! I'd love to be on a
team. I've been studying Arabic since June and I'm going to be adding Dutch, which I'm
pretty much a beginner in, for the January Dutch Challenge.
