Ellasevia, though I wont join any team, I'd be glad to be an observer/corrector for the french team... I guess every team should have a native speaker looking at the log and correct it in order to help the team-mates to improve themselves... I read the whole 22 pages and didnt stumble on sthg like this... but maybe it's already done, and I just didnt see it !!!!
Now, I'd like to begin a 2011 TAC personnal challenge... I couldnt find any "button" shaped for this.. how I am supposed to do??
BTW you 're doing a great job!!! |

All you have to do to start the personal challenge is create a thread in the Language Learning Log section, and have TAC 2011 as part of the title. Then just use that thread to log your progress for the year. Good luck!

That's a great idea! I've been lurking around the Dutch team's logs already so I'd be happy to do the same for them.

In fact, it is great to have corrections/help from a native speaker.
I don't know if there is another Russian speaker here to share 2 Russian teams with me?

Sir Lunch-a-lot, Gerwin, and Hakan D, I've added you all to the list. I've just put you onto teams where I wouldn't have to reshuffle the people already on it. Thus, Sir Lunch-a-lot is on Team Ω (Greek), Gerwin is on Team X (English), and Hakan D is on Team ש (Hebrew).
Good idea with the native speakers. I thought about trying to organize a native speaker for each group, but I thought it might end up being too chaotic and native speakers would hopefully find their way there anyways. Also, there aren't that many natives of languages like Japanese, Icelandic, and Persian on here, so it wouldn't work out for every team.

I am not a native speaker, but anyway - like for the TAC 2010 - I will have a kind look on the Dutch team "IJ" and make some useful comments where necessary.

Once again, I think it's best that I don't join the TAC, although I'd like to, for the same reason I had last year: I'll have to handle more changes of residence and work this year (I hope not more than one time, at least). I kept going with my own log project all through last year, but I did fall behind in my language work many times, and I don't know what to expect from this year. So, for now, I'll continue as a solo act, so to speak. I wish everyone the best with the TAC challenge, and I'll be following your logs and drawing much inspiration from your language adventures and accomplishments - that much is certain!

Could you please sign me up for Team TAC for Spanish and Japanese?
Thanks.
