I see that there are a lot of people who drop off quickly, or perhaps do not even start. In some cases we also have members who do not give much support to their team members. Would it make sense for next year to either make teams of 6 persons, or have a combination of people who have been writing regularly, and of new members?
The way we go about now, including newcomers where there is a free space, and at some point perhaps even merging teams, also seems like a good way of doing things. It is flexible, allows us to take on newcomers, and makes sure that noone is left alone.
Just thinking of how to make the system even more robust for next year :-)

Yes, this is really a pity. I for example have only one teammate in my Turkish team, but Sierra hasn't even started the TAC 2011 yet.

I like Solfrid's idea of being able to form teams of up to 6 people. It provides a little more flexibility and scope, but doesn't necessarily go over the top.
And Ellasevia...you're doing a top job so far of organising the TAC this year, mate. Keep up the great work! :)

Kuikentje, I am still waiting for Sierra to turn up again. She(?) has written an interesting log with intermediate Turkish, so this could be very inspirational for me. I really would like to be in a team which matches with my target languages. My other target language is Danish, so my alternative would be the Scandinavian team. And there's still the question, whether I will start preparing the French DELF-exam after the Universala Kongreso in July 2011. Then even being in a French team will be useful for me.

Is it too late to join? I'm going to start Turkish in a week. If you need another teammate, let me know.
