Also, I know "MSA" means Modern Standard Arabic, but lately I've been listening to Qur'an recitations while reading along (with the Arabic, not English). This really helps me understand more than I would either just listening or just reading--it's surprising. If you feel inclined to locate a Qur'an, I highly recommend practicing this way.
