Actually I've overcome many tones in Asian languages and clicking in African languages
already, I've dabbled for a week or so in about 25-30 languages desperately searching for
ones I would enjoy, and I enjoyed a lot but I wanted to learn an easier one before
jumping into a beast of a language. (that was all since I was 10 by the way)

Pronunciation has never been a problem, I work in music and my ears are very fine-tuned.
Grammar bugs me, but mostly just verb conjugations and cases. Everything else has come
naturally so far.

Also, I do have a good base in Spanish. I was learning for a month before school started.
Swedish I am still new to.

Good for you - it sounds like you have all the skills and determination necessary to become another Professor Arguelles!

But don't forget to leave time for other things too - you're still so young (I know you hate hearing that), there are so many things you are still learning about life. Hang out with your friends, read books for fun, do a sport or at least do something active every day - make sure you become a well-rounded polyglot !

Thanks! I learn languages as well as hang out with friends (some of which are learning
languages as well), do things like airsoft, basketball, and running, and I am also a
musician. I have plenty of things on my plate haha :)

As much as it pains me to say it, you should stick with Spanish for a while. I get it, you hate the language and there is a great chance your teacher is a horrid man who would make anyone hate puppies if he held lessons on them, but if you are struck with Spanish for your high school career then you shouldn't waste this golden opportunity to actually learn it. Listen to Spanish music, read books written by Spanish authors, eat Spanish food, anything to develop a liking for the culture and the language. It's a dead useful language to speak, especially in the US, and you will have lots of time to learn Swedish in the future.

Sounds good. I actually still practice my Spanish a bit and it's going fine but I could
focus more on it. I also will be focusing heavily on Mandarin.
