I'd compare platiquemos to a girlfriend or wife that
may not be the hottest chick in the room, but she would
never cheat on you or intentionally hurt you. She has
her quirks, but she's trustworthy.

I'd say it's a positive review, but it's obvious to me that the reviewer didn't spend any time with the course. His most startling revelation is that the book doesn't have color illustrations. Makes you wonder how much About.com guides earn.
