Yes, lol, there are definitely a lot of challenges with Polish! I think because it's so different to what I've studied before. This makes it slower for me I think too... 90% - 10% sounds like a good idea, just to keep it going. I did get a kick out of watching Covert Affairs the other day as they were in Poland and when the name of the area popped up on screen I had to rewind and pause so I could read it :-p that was fun :oD I might take half hour a day to dedicate to Polish - use Colloquial or something to keep it going. Even if it's just listening to the audio. I think that should help to make me feel like I'm actually doing something with the language rather than sending it to the naughty corner and trying to ignore its cries of abandonment... Ok, momentum is needed :o) I WILL get this Polish boulder rolling :o) I promise not to hit any of us Bison with it on the way! Well my fellow Bisons, I hate to say it, but this little Bison is leaving the herd... I might come back to it later in the year, I'm not sure. It just seems too challenging for me right now and I've lost motivation to even think about picking up a Polish book :o( If I get the urge, I will grab it and study, but if not, I won't force myself.
Thank you Bison friends for allowing me to tag along on this journey. Hopefully I will meet up with you all further along the road. I will continue to see how you all are doing and I wish you all the best xx 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Sorry to hear you're leaving us, but from what you say, I think you're just being totally honest with yourself so it makes sense to change. And as you say, you can always return. In the meantime you'll have more freedom to concentrate on something else. Good luck...and stay in touch.
