As for now I finished Assimil lesson 58. Lots of new vocabulary and lots of doubts about case endings, but if you analyze the words and the function they have in the sentence, all gets clear.
NOw I can read euronews quite fluently. Today I read about a sad matter: the Syrian crisis. I managed to read without the dictionary (except for a few words).
I keep listening to Chinese and Korean radio broadcasts in Russian (www.russian.cri.cn and www.kbs.co.kr/russian).
No luck with Russian novels and films, though. They keep quite cryptic.

Glad to see that you're progressing!
Cases are indeed quite hard, especially as some phrases require certain cases! I'm just hoping that it will all come in
time...
I'm going to give those radio broadcasts a shot, as they sound very interesting. Thanks for the links!
As for novels, yes, they are quite like wading through cement. My advice is to perhaps try some short stories. That
way, you can still dip your toe into the pool of famous authors, but not be overwhelmed.

You are quite right, the exact word is "overwhelmed". But short stories is a very good tip.
