May I suggest using the Tablekit framework for a neat implementation of table sorting?
It's as easy as including one Javascript file and setting your table class to "sortable".
Magic. I use it for 6wc.learnlangs.com.

So you're the keeper of the 6WC bot? It's good to know whose brain to pick when I run into twitter trouble now
:).
I thought about having some sort ability for the table, but unfortunately it's not as easy as dropping in some
framework - neither Tablekit nor the other popular options cope with "grouping" (ie, the rowspan tag). Some
scripts didn't automatically split the span where required, some scripts ignored rows within the spans, and
some scripts simply crashed.
Saying that, I hacked up sorttable.js so that it works. Click on a column header to sort by
challenge/scores/language/etc. I've also fixed the bug where participants with the same scores would get split
up.

Thought you knew that :-)
I didn't have the time to program the Super Challenge bot on short notice, so I'm really
happy that you did. When you have a problem, ask away and I'll try to help. I'm familiar
with PHP but note that I have only programmed in Ruby on Rails (and Prototype or jQuery
flavoured Javascript) for the past 4 years. The 6 Week Challenge bot was written in Ruby
on Rails, too.

Surrealix, you're my new hero!
Only one small suggestion... could you name the page? I tend to have about 10 different windows open, and yours is just called "Mozilla Firefox". Which is strange, since I'm using chrome. (Joking! I am using Firefox).

Do you have any idea when the undo function will be ready? I forgot to write the name of my last essay, and I do like details.
I think you are amazing programming all this stuff. It seems like magic to me. Thank you for throwing away all your free time for us.

Cristina - I changed my French to a full Super Challenge. Can you change it in the participant thread?
I am going to go all out. I'm almost done with my first French book already. I hope I can finish it tonight! (Woo hoo!) :D
