Thanks. I easily fit under B1.
So how do I track my progress? Post in my thread in language learning log? Something in 6wc style? Or something totally different?

SUPER CHALLENGE REGISTRATION AND UPDATE

Here you register by saying which sort of challenge you want to do, and which language you want to enter with, then you register with the Twitter bot that you find the address to in the first post of that thread, together with all the rules, and then you are good to go.

I strongly advise you to register on the bot, but if you want any feed back on what you see and do I would advise you to also make updates in that thread. This is a marathon, and it can be good to have people around you to run with :-) If you in addition want to use your log or a separate log, that it up to you.

Where do you get your books and movies from? Since I registered I was searching in the internet hard, but found nothing of interest. I don't have any Norwegian programs on my TV. And my local bookstore definitely doesn't sell any Norwegian books.

Here are some Norwegian bookstores:

ark

haugen

bokkilden

And here is where you can get dvd's:

dvdhuset

I checked them all to make sure they deliver to foreign countries.
There are probably some others too, but these were the ones I could think of off hand.

I see that you're from Bulgaria, so I suppose you live here. Then I'll have to discourage you that if you'd fancy buying Norwegian movies from here, that's close to impossible, but you've probably ended up to that conclusion yourself as well. The only other choice for getting Norwegian movies (without having them ordered online) is "finding" them online - there're some options here and there (if you know what I mean). There's also that youtube channel that I've found when I was on the wave for watching Norwegian movies: http://www.youtube.com/user/minikai5
There're some movies and series that are uploaded, and that are with ok quality.

About the books - you're right - no Norwegian literature is sold here whatsoever - in every possible bookstore that I've tried to look for something the shop assistants looked at me like as if I'm totally insane to even ask them if they sell the thing.

Anyway there's an option. If you're living in Sofia (cause I suppose it would be rather uncomfortable for you to travel every now and then in order to get/return the books only), you can go to Sofia University's main library, get a card, and after that visit the Scandinavian studies' library. It's located in the main building, on the 5-the floor. The thing is that you'll need to use the entrance that is on the right side of the main library, then you either way take the stairs or the elevator. It's totally worth it, because that's probably the only place in Bulgaria, where you'll be able to find Norwegian (and any other Scandinavian literature - even Icelandic) literature in original.

There are definitely some Norwegian movies on Internet (if you know where to look :). Quick search (movies since 2006) gave me a list of two dozens of movies + "Varg Veum" series.

2011-2012
Hodejegerne
Få meg på, for faen
Mennesker i solen
Jørgen + Anne = sant
Oslo, 31. august
Sønner av Norge
Knerten i knipe

2006-2010
Man som hatar kvinnor
Nokas
Jernanger
Julenatt i Blafjell
Død snø
Keeper'n til Liverpool
Snarveien
Trolljegeren
Switch
Yohan-Barnevandrer
Knerten gifter seg
Fritt Vilt III
Knerten
Rovdyr

Series of "Varg Veum"
