Dankjewel! Mijn plannen voor het wedstrijd zijn niet zeer ambitieus. En ik spreek nog
niet goed Nederlands. Maar ik leer graag deze leuke taal ;-)
Tot ziens!
UPDATE: My first action for the 6WC = 94 minutes of Dutch using Langenscheidt!

"New language" for the 6WC: Medical English
Luckily I was able to attend to a lecture series in English, with focus on Medical English (of course).
Learning a different way of vocabulary has made me decide to brush up my English skills, to close the rather small gap between "C1/C2" and "C2".
Dutch: Enjoying the 6WC!
Even if I hadn't so much free time for learning Dutch, I have managed to learn some more grammar, to expand a little bit my vocabulary and to improve my pronunciation.
There is far more to do, and I'm looking forward to making some more progress this weekend!
Ik maak nog altijd veel fouten. Het is niet gemakkelijk...
Helaas moet ik al afscheid van jullie nemen.
Tot ziens!

Dutch: 6WC update
Today I spent the whole day learning Dutch. I learned some vocabulary and grammar, made some reading and speaking exercises and did quite a lot of writing. In the evening I watched two
films with the Dutch soundtrack.
Portuguese: Learning with Busuu
As a welcome change I spent some time brushing up my Portuguese on Busuu. I'm still not sure about my level...

Skyping with other polyglots
Last weekend I had a great chat with Fasulye (in Dutch) via Skype. I learned a lot, and she helped me out with grammar,
pronunciation and vocabulary. After one hour Amir joined in and we continued our chat in those languages we have in common: French,
Italian, Spanish, German and English.

NL: Ja, dat was inderdaad een hele leuke sessie met jullie twee! Goed is dat ik zoveel met mijn Nederlands kan helpen, maar ook goed dat ik voor mijn vreemde talen zoveel conversatie geboden krijg. :)

Podcast in Swiss-German
For all those of you who wonder how Swiss-German sounds, there is good news! I just
discovered a website where you can listen to a podcast series in Swiss-German. Every
month there is a new podcast episode in Swiss-German by Helene Aecherli on Podclub.ch.
She speaks a Swiss-German dialect from Lucerne. The podcast is called "Typisch Helene"
and it also exists in German. I must say that unfortunately the intonation is deadly
monotonous, but it is quite easy to understand for all those who speak "Standard German".
Enjoy!

Skyping with polyglots
Today I had a short but thrilling videochat with Solfrid Cristina, switching between five
languages (English, Spanish, French, and a little bit of Italian and German). :-)
Thanks for that! It's good to see that others struggle with the same difficulties and
find a lot of pleasure in exchanging ideas about languages with other people. Woohoo!
