Our HTLAL profiles just show a country. I often wonder where in that country people live. I am especially interested if anyone lives close enough to meet up sometime. My country is Canada, so people could live next door or 7,000 km or more away.
I live in Kingston, Ontario, about half way between Toronto and Montreal, and not far from Ottawa, and near to upstate New York. Any HTLALers live close to Kingston? Maybe others could say where they live, and maybe find a nearby language-learning partner. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

I don't know what age you are, but a very prolific HTLAL contributor Hobbema (The Avenue at Middelharnis thread) is from St. Louis. He is approximately middle-aged, and is studying Dutch and Portuguese. Unfortunately he hasn't been here for quite a while.
