I'm in the middle of four books, but once I'm done with one or two of them I will probably try it. (Actually all four of them are series books, so it might be awhile. LOL)

Today I watched the first episode of "El internado". The action is very similar to the Russian version ("Закрытая
школа").
German.
Nacht.
Usually in the beginning I like to read some easy bilingual books. For that reason I like a lot Frank's method
(franklang.ru) books: original texts with detailed comment in Russian. Today my "before going to bed" book is
"My
Husband Marries Today" by Annemarie Selinko.

Chung proposed looking for original comic strips or translating its to Hungarian, Turkish, etc. I like the idea, but
personally I like more anecdotes. I had a lot of fun during my German 6WC last year using a book with German
anecdotes with explanations in Russian. Finding the anecdotes in any target language and translating to others
seems useful for mastering vocabulary, grammar etc. So one of my TAC2013 goals will be to create a humorous log. |

Humour is always good, and I think that I have a way to incorporate them as part of my studies. The brevity of comic strips is appealing to a lazy learner like me. :-)

Being a "lazy learner" (me too!) is not a bad option: doing mostly things one enjoy helps to keep motivation for a
long time.

So this is the first joke:
A hunter is telling to his fiends:
-And then I attacked the wolf and, just by one strike, I've cut his tail!
-Why don't you cut his head?
-Somebody has done it before.
