Wow, that Sohlman Conversation Guide sounds fantastic!
I see a few copies available on Amazon, but I really can't justify the purchase, haha. I agree wholeheartedly about the quality of courses overall dipping down. It is a real shame since the internet should make improvement so much easier. Imagine, for example, Madrigal's Magic Keys for German with the addition of native speakers added so one could develop and ear for the language while learning all that grammar.
