Three languages that I think sound really beautiful, especially in a poetic context are:
Arabic (especially when spoken in a formal way)
Icelandic (e.g. the Sagas read aloud)
Japanese (e.g. Ken Watanabe's monologue in Kill Bill)
Hebrew (e.g. a cantor in a synagogue)
Part of the beauty for me is the exotic quality of each of these languages from my perspective. By the same token, I find Portuguese and Italian somewhat prosaic, though both are very rich languages.

YES, YOU'RE RIGHT. |

Higher volume and often faster! I can guarantee that Spanish as spoken by Andalucians is one of the fastest spoken languages on the planet. :P |

NOT TRUE !
The fastest language spoken in the Galaxy is French as spoken by my older daughter ! I can't understand a word at "normal speed"!

Although I really don't like French, no one can doubt that it sounds just lovely when spoken.
I really think that Mandarin is really neutral, not that tough and not that soft when spoken, so it sounds good too. I actually like Spanish too.
So, in the most commonly learned languages on Earth, I would have to say
5)Japanese (as someone sad before, awfully cute when girls speak japanese, haha)
4)Spanish
3)Russian (I know, it sounds rough, something about the language attracts me)
2)Mandarin
1)French

I don't like the sound of Arabic, too guttural. Persian sounds much nicer.

I think Hungarian sounds the nicest of all the languages I've heard, its so beautiful. Closely followed by Russian, German and French. I really dislike the sound of Portuguese and Spanish...

Just about every language is pleasing in some way if you ask me.
If anyone has ever listened to someone speak Setswana, it's a gorgeous language (one of my close friends in from Bostwana so I get to hear it now and then); Hindi is very nice to the ear; French and Spanish are my favorite romance languages to listen to (I've never really heard Catalan, but I hope that changes); there are too many others to list.
Also, I think this kind of thing can change depending on the mood of someone.

I couldn't agree with you more. Every language has its perks and points of beauty.
