About the same for me with English and German. My first non-English language was Kazakh (around 6), while German was my first non-mandatory language. I started on Japanese, my first self-taught language, at 20.

English at 6, but I didn't learn anything before 10-ish, German between 13 and 18 (I
gave up as soon as I stopped having classes in school), and then I started leearning
Japanese at 20, which in turn motivated me to restart learning German. I call it
restarting because at that point I could barely tell pronounc from one another.

I was 50 when I started studying French. It was actually on my birthday, not planned that way, just by chance. Looking back now I think it is the best present I've every given myself.

my parents enrolled me in an English-immersion program when I was in 2nd grade. It was an absolutely negative experience to me and I just stopped going after the first semester. I started learning English seriously since middle school.

I started learning German at 10. Probably why I don't have a great deal of trouble with pronunciation...
