Hello, my fellow East Asian teammates! It's nice to see you here. I will be studying Korean and I will keep my old log. I hope you will drop by now and then.
Woodsei, thank you for taking up the team captain role! It can be a daunting task to organize all the logs and especially all the links to materials so I appreciate it. I have a small suggestion though - maybe you could put some smaller pictures in the first post? The current ones are too big to be viewed comfortably on some screens.

Hello everyone, nice to be on the team! And thank you Woodsei for captaining the team!
This is my first TAC and I'm going to study Japanese. I'm pretty much a complete beginner. I
only know the kana, a few kanji and everyday phrases. But I'm looking forward to study hard
this year. I'm hoping to be able to reach A2 this year.
My log is the following: http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?
TID=39745&PN=1&TPN=1
Looking forward to follow you all during the year!

Hello everyone. This is my first TAC, so I'm probably nervous and excited in equal measures :) I'll be studying
Mandarin, so I thought being on this team would be appropriate.
I must admit I'm a total beginner at this point, and I don't have a detailed plan to get to a certain skill level in a
certain amount of time. Instead, I mean to have fun with learning, and my main goal is simply to study actively
and
consistently. Then let's see where that leads :)
I'm looking forward to making friends here, and to following you all during the year :)
EDIT: I realized that I forgot to add a link to my log. Here it is.

I second the suggestion to use the characters of the language that you're studying. I'll use the Japanese version. I
think the characters are similar enough to be recognised by everybody.

Hello Evita, Sooniye, and Zimena, and very glad you all are here! I also look forward to
a fun year with all of you, and I really appreciate your sentiments, Evita and Sooniye.
And remember to sign up at the TAC '15 thread if you haven't already done so, Zimena. I
put you down for Mandarin :)
@Evita: I tried to scale down the images, but as it asks for a URL, this is what I keep
getting. Do you have any alternative way to minimize them so they're easy on the eyes?
@Josquin: I agree, too, that this would be the best way to go. Waiting to here back from
everyone and see what they think. The question is, though, which one to put down for the
team thread? Or should I just go ahead and put down the Japanese one?

Forgot to add that as for which characters used for the Team Name, I am very much fine with
what you guys have proposed.

Woodsei, I think you simply need to find some smaller images. Maybe some different images. The reason the Korean image isn't showing up is probably because the site where it's hosted doesn't allow hotlinking (displaying their images on external sites) so maybe you can find some other image for that as well.
