If you're learning Arabic and interested in having a job post where Arabic is desperately wanted I'll go ahead and answer your question. Although Google can do wonders... Blackwater is American. Aegis is British. L-3 Titan is American. There are German, Russian, French, South African, and a couple others. Link to other companies for hire. Just scroll to the very bottom for the list.

3000 Chinese characters will take you a long way. 99% of what appears in the newspapers will be covered.
Knowledge of the core characters will also help you get around Japan and Korea (though not nearly as much as
before in Korea).
Best of all? No verb conjugations!!! Tones are a real pain though. It is important to get those right so pay attention
to the tones from the beginning.
I haven't tried Arabic yet but the "Institut du Monde Arabe" http://www.imarabe.org/ has inspired me to put it on
my "to do" list.

Did Dubai rock or what? Give us a review.. |

Dubai's a cool city. I actually just flew in and out from there. I actually stayed for a month in Abu Dhabi. Really haven't spent any time in Dubai for about 7 years but yeah the city looks incredible. It's changed so much. There are so many new skyscrapers all of them a work of art!
Yeah Beijing has the smog. Urgh. Actually got settled again though and taking Chinese classes at the university i'm teaching at so I should hopefully iron out a lot of my grammar problems.
