Yeah, I was wondering how much of the vocab was outdated. Very helpful.

Day 39 (May 24th)

-Completed FSI Turkish unit 19.

Day 40 (May 25th)

-Completed FSI Turkish unit 20.

Day 41 (May 26th)

-Watched some Turkish TV.

Day 42 (May 27th)

-Took a break.

And thus concludes my 6 week challenge. Looks like just about everyone else dropped out at some point, so go me for sticking with it (it helps that I'm unemployed and have nothing better to do at the moment)! I really just wanted to find out if I had the discipline to sit down and study every day. Though I did take the occasional day off real studying to watch TV and read articles, I still exposed myself to the language every day. I can't yet say I've "learned" the language and I wouldn't even consider myself "intermediate", but I've built a decent foundation and I'm well on my way to getting a good grasp on Turkish. I just have to keep doing what I'm doing and be consistent.
