Sounds like a good idea. I have way too much free time right now
My aim: Learn Esperanto. And if I get far enough in that then progress in Spanish or German or whatever I feel like doing then. I will also be doing the 6WC possibly in Swedish or Hungarian.
I will be making a log simply because I know I will slack off otherwise

Maybe not total annihilation, but this sounds like a great idea. I'll be studying lots of German this summer - again, and hopefully get it somewhere in the A2 range. Wish me luck!

This is great, count me in! Just the kick in the pants I needed to get me
going. And since I started Gaelic last week, the timing is perfect. My
goals by the end of the summer are:
1) complete the TY Gaelic course
2) complete the BBC online Gaelic course
3) find 2or 3 Gaelic texts on the web, and after finishing my courses, read
these out loud, and understand them
4) learn approx. 200 more Japanese Kanji required for JLPT 3
5) Hopefully squeeze in more Japanese study
6) Stop reading these forums for several hours a day so I actually have
time to study

The TAC seems like a good idea and I'd like to take part (in some way) but I'm afraid that I won't be able to start until late July.
