Don't you think that this method "LSLC" is the same as Pimsleur, or rather , Pimsleur is very better, because in it they speak part by part.

You are going to have to ask yourself how fluent do you want to become. If the answer is merely functional then yes you can get by with mainly audio programs which you can do on your way to work. If however, your goal is near native like proficiency then you are going to have to have an fsi program with the text that comes with it.
You will have to spend time with books in front of you along with the audio when going over new material. You are going to have to invest the time and the money to become truly fluent. To me it is worth it. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Ok, I agree with you, you're north amerincan , and your mother tonge is English, and only using pimsleur can be difficult, on the other hand, I'm from Brazil, and portuguese is very close Spanish,for this I think Pmsleur is a "little" better than FSI, ut I'm looking for other FSI languages, in order to change my mind.

LSLC just began giving out FSI 3 and 4 with their program. They are allowing past customers to download the program. Not a bad deal.

I checked a few days ago and the last two lessons were 43 and 44 with 42 being skipped. It sounds like they may not be adding any new lessons in the near future.

Does anyone have a complete list of the topics covered
in LSLC lessons 1-44? The PDFs don't have have a title saying what is covered. I have this incomplete list from a while back: 1 "AR" verbs in the Present Tense and Subject Pronouns 2 More "AR" verbs in the Present Tense 3 Possessive Adjectives and Possessive pronouns 4 Possessive Adjectives and Possessive pronouns cont. 5 "ER" Verbs in the Present Tense 13 Reflexive Verbs 14 More Reflexive Verbs 15 More Reflexive Verbs 16 Preterite 17 Preterite Verb Tense 18 The Imperfect Verbs 19 The Imperfect Verb Tense continued 20 The Imperfect Verb Tense continued 21 The Imperfect Verb Tense continued 22 The Imperfect Verb v. Preterite Tense 23 The Weather Present and Past Tense 24 Intro to the Present Perfect Tense Part A 24 Intro to the Present Perfect Tense Part B 25 More of the Present Perfect Tense 26 Direct Object Pronouns I'm trying to combine some audio from multiple programs for stuff I find tricky, like indirect and direct objects in the same phrase (unit 20 FSI basic course). Learn Spanish in your Car has several lessons (65-69) that I'm finding are helpful for hitting this topic from another angle.
