Spanish
Vocabulary is really the only thing holding me back from being fluent. I will learn a minimum of thirty words a week until I 'become fluent'.
French
I'm often the laziest with French because there are so many similarities with Spanish, so I really need to learn French as French, and not a variation of Spanish.
Norwegian
I can already pick up a lot just by listening. I mainly need to work on grammar, as opposed to Spanish.
Polish
I don't know very much, becuase my workload for school was much more than previously anticipated, but I have a solid base that I can work off of for 2008.
Russian
I need to stop taking breaks! I get up to an almost intermediate level, then focus on my other languages, and forget almost everything that I knew.
Korean
I'll seriously give this language a try this year, not expecting fluency any time soon, though.
Good luck everyone!

English
Try to get a better accent. People can tell I have a non-native accent, but they can't tell which it is. It is not Korean, nor Sri Lankan, nor anything "they" have heard before. Perhaps it's just MY accent. Anyway, I will try to improve it. Also, I aim to get an A for my AS-Level English Literature (Emma by Jane Austens is such a DRAG!), plus 1500/1600 for Critical Reading and Writing of SAT (my last practice score was 1410, and I have roughly a year left to take the real exam).
German
Hopefully by the end of this year, I would be able to understand German radios and newspapers without refering back to the dictionary often.
Mandarin
No solid plans so far.
Esperanto
I want to reach the level where I can communicate with relative ease with other Esperantists. Right now, I have to rely heavily on the online dictionary, and the kindness of my ex-online tutor to clarify any hard words.

maybe French and Mandarin....before I start off studying both of them I need to feel secure I'm ready over English and Spanish...
About French I'll do it all to take private classes for lower prices per hour....Mandarin might be harder to arrange something like that at least in the city where I'm currently living...Sao Paulo could be easier...

German
I would like to progress to level B1 by the summer.
Russian
I have fallen in love with this language. I would like to be able to read websites and short stories in it by the end of the year.
Spanish
I would like to finish the second Pimsleur level.
French
I would like to be a better assistant to my child who is trying to learn French on her own.

In Malay I want to try and achieve basic fluency. With Mandarin I want to just continue to do what I am doing. Maybe I'll try to reach the intermediate level in Mandarin. Also, I might start learning Spanish again or German depending on how much time I would have and if I meet my previous mentioned goal in Malay.
For 2008 I also want to try and use less English, and use more Malay and Mandarin in my life. I have been slowly deleting English songs from my ipod and reducing the amount of English shows that I watch.

Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Norwegian - I would like to read 3 books in each language. That's one book a month. I also plan to watch or listen to something in at least one those languages for 30 minutes a day.
Chinese - I need to finish all the courses I have (which is a lot) and learn as many characters as I can. Chinese is just too big of a project to neglect. I need to attack this one hard and consistently. If not everyday, 4-5 days a week.
Turkish - Complete the FSI course and review the Teach Yourself course. I also need to work my way through an authentic piece of writing or audio at least once a week.
Persian - To be added in 6 months. I want to be comfortable with the writing system, pronunciation, basic grammar and vocabulary by the end of the year.
Romanian - To be added if I feel I'm accomplishing all my other goals.
I really hope I can get it together and be consistent in my studies. That's my general goal. I need to stay motivated and focused enough to study nearly every day and not slack off like I've been doing.

German
Reach advanced fluency. I can already hold small conversations or listen to others and get a general idea of what it is about. Same with newspapers articles. I couldn't do this three months ago. The hard work is bearing fruit. Join a university course. 2008 is my German year.
Italian
Study it at least one hour a week. It is amazing to see that what takes me 10 hours to learn in German I can learn it in one hour of Italian during the weekends.
Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Mandarin
Not learning these, they're on stand-by so I'll just refresh them from time to time with the "Instant Immersion" games. For Russian, I'll finish Pimsleur's Instant Conversation --two CDs left :)
No more languages for 2008 or after. But as they say, if you want God to have a good laugh, tell him your plans.
