for polish audiobooks add "+chomik" to your search query.
Let's try it. Google query: "+chomik +audiobooki"

http://karolciaa2811.chomikuj.pl/Chomik.aspx?id=SANDEMO&sid= 15 this link is very good, i wish i found one like that for other languages :)

it's very easy to find polish audiobooks. With a little more digging you can find them in other languages as well. Adding +chomik when you search for other materials such as courses or e books also yields good results.

more keywords: a-booki, audioksiążki, audio ksiazki, książki do słuchania, bajki (for childrens' stories), audiobook, audiobooks (they will give you different hits)

for those who don't know any Polish but would like to search these sites here are a few basic keywords you can use with +chomik
francuski - French
hiszpanski - Spanish
niemiecki - German
języki obce - foreign languages
materiały do nauki - study materials
kursy - courses
słowniki - dictionaries

I've made some minor updates, primarily involving adding terms for radio plays, which are often based on books (it's surprisingly easy to get a radio play accidentally; I generally see some whenever I shop for audiobooks).

I'd be very glad if anyone could any relevant terms, for any language. If you know one, please share it!

Hungarian terms for radio play: hangjáték, rádiójáték

Both of them seems to return relevant hits in google.

For swedish "ljudbok" and "talbok" is absolutely correct but I would like to add "CD-bok" as well that is the most frequently used one were I live.

"Аудиокнига" /audiokniga/ is the Bulgarian and apparently also the Russian word for audiobook.

How do you say 'audiobook' in Basque?

Book appears to be liburu. I've seen 'audioliburu', 'audio-liburu', and 'audio liburu', but all three have less than 10 hits each on google. Is there a more common term, or is this a concept which does not have a word in Basque?

Also, does anyone know of audiobooks in Basque?

Edit: A few more terms I've come across, and that seem somewhat relevant, but not to be exactly what I'm looking for:
audioa (audio?)
Liburu horretan
Entzungaiak (listen?)
Entzuteko literatura (listen to literature?)

In my opinion, the most accurate term is "Entzuteko liburua" which literally means "a book to be listened to". (but Audio-liburua is also used, which is a literal translation of audiobook, but seems rather forced to me).

Moreover:
- Audioa = audio.
- Liburu horretan = on that book.
- Entzun = to listen.
- Entzungaiak = things that can be listened to.
- Entzuteko literatura= literature to be listened to.

Hope it helps

I've updated, merging in pirx's, eoinda's, Sennin's, and izan's suggestions, as well as adding a Vietnamese term for audiobook.

More suggestions are welcome!
