"no recuerdo los verbos irregulares ni las ortografías de las palabras"
"¡Qué difícil!" - no se escribe "dificíl". La 'l' al final de una palabra ya pone el acento a la sílaba final.
"Escuché la música por la mañana pero no entendí nada." - without the "nunca".
"No aprendo más español ahora." - I am not learning more Spanish now? I think I would say: "Hoy no pienso estudiar más español"
"Traduciré este mensaje mañana, ojalá que yo esté menos frustrado." - o "espero que no me sienta tan frustrado". Aquí se usa el verbo "estar". También creo que puedes utilizar el futuro y la frase tendrá la misma significación.
Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with using the future tense for "traducir", as it's a completely separate phrase from the "ojalá" phrase (I assume that's why you wanted to use the subjunctive?). Anyway, like DaraghM said, your Spanish is really good, I think you are just second-guessing yourself too much and confusing yourself ;)
I hope you don't give up studying Spanish as you've come a long way! Of course, I too am still studying it, but if you have any questions about anything feel free to ask me. If I know the answer or can help you out, I will :D

When I saw this my first reaction was to check the Danish section, and here I noticed that the imperative is given with a pronoun: "du gal". The meaning probably is that the imperative is "gal" i 2.p. singular - but some readers might think that the pronoun is obligatory. It isn't - and if it is there then it is without exception put after the verb: "Gal du (bare)". Besides the imperative kan also be used with the polite form "De": "Gal De (bare)".
Verbix should probably also mention the old preterite form in verbs that have become 'weak' rather recently - just like it is done in the case "at klinge" (klingede/klang). In other verbs these forms are mostly used as jokes, but not as rarely as you might think (brække --> brækkede/(brak), gå --> gik/(gak .. also as imperative!).. etc.). But I checked a number of 'errorprone' verbs, and mostly the forms given were correct.
Could you give some examples of the errors you have found in the Swedish part?

Wonderful post, mick33. Useful for me for when I'll teach Finnish!

You meant "tukkaan" (just a typo I know).

The hacker's IP was from Ukraine. I get the same message - and I or my ip address have never visited that site earlier. So you will need to register anyway, if you want to browse it.

I guess should have made it more clear that I was not going to learn any more Spanish on that day! I was simply very frustrated and embarassed because I had needed my dictionary to check the spelling of some very easy words. I will definitely not give up on Spanish; aside from that one afternoon learning it has generally been a positive experience. Thank you for the corrections, I always appreciate any help and advice.

The errors I found in the Swedish part on Wednesday were as follows: Twice when I typed in "skola" a message appeared saying verbix did not recognize "skola" as a Swedish verb though today "skola" was recognized. Typing in "ska"brought up a page that said ska is not in the database but still lists it as an infinitive verb with the participle "skat" and the gerund "skande" then lists conjugations for "ska" and this error remains. I already knew that "ska" is a conjugation of "skola" but since I frequently encounter "ska" in reading I thought I'd see what verbix would make of it. Another error which is still there concerns "förstå" and begripa
first the past tense forms given are "förstod" and "begrepa" respectively. I think both are incorrect but to be fair they are in red; maybe that means these will be reviewed later. Another strange error is that on the pages for both "förstå" and "begripa" the link that says conjugate another Swedish verb instead redirects me here and shows the following message
Haettua sivua ei löydy!
Cannot find the page!
Den sökta sidan kan ej hittas!
Then there is a link to eliza.net which looks like a Finnish web portal; very interesting but not what I want when I'm studying Swedish. Another minor complaint is that I see no mention of the supine form.
I'm probably not the first to notice these things but I emailed verbix about them anyway. Hopefully these things can be fixed.

Thanks! Good to know you found my explanation useful, and yes it should be "tukkaan".

That's what I discovered too, I should have noticed that the IP address listed is neither mine at home nor is it the IP address for any of the computers at school. I did send an email to address given at learnfinnish.org earlier this morning, but I have not gotten a reply yet.

Just a few things
Saturday I learned more Spanish and Finnish words though trying to do scriptorium with Finnish takes more time than I expected, two paragraphs took me almost an hour but the vocabulary was a little advanced, I expect I'll get better as continue. My Swedish pronunciation was starting to sound like Spanish but is slowly getting better though I still emphasize the wrong syllables often.
For some unknown reason I again succombed to wanderlust late Saturday night and decided to read up on the Sami language(s)and found some soundfiles here. Don't ask me to explain why did this, I don't really know, I was suddenly curious and tired of studying chemistry and math. No I will not be learning Sami (not yet, perhaps in a year or two).
Time to listen to some Finnish and go to math class
Mick

The weather is bad now so I won't ride my bike yet. Earlier, I tried reading about rugby but I don't understand the game. Rugby differs just enough from American Football that I want to find out more about rugby. I could read about cricket since it is also popular in South Africa, but cricket is a lot like baseball and I don't like baseball.
I think the rain has let up, so I will ride my bike now before the rain starts up again. I'm planning on posting something about how to make Swedish words plural in my next post, but when I get home I'll need to study math and chemistry first.
Lekker dag
Mick
