Allright, flashcards ready.
There are 5 decks of 32 cards each.
I will try keep the same amount of nouns, verbs, adjectives and prepositions in each deck.
I practiced the first deck, and did all words from native to target, and target to native a couple of times without any mistakes.

Today it went for a walk. And i brought the dog. Very exciting huh' ?
Anyway, I also brougt two decks of flashcards (2x32).
I did the first one from target to native, and native to target a few times without any real problems. The second deck took some time to learn - actually something like 1½ - 2 hours.
I put the two decks together and went through them a few times. Thats 64 cards in a row. Succes.

Wait.. Deja vu.
But i did.
I brought, again, two (new) decks of flashcards (2x32).
The I went over the first one a couple of times, from target to native and vice versa
The second deck took some extra time to learn - again 1½ - 2 hours.
I mixed the 2 decks and did 64 cards in a row, then again with cards from yesterday.
128 cards in a row. Succes

My first 156 words memorized in two days.
I guess it's not a big deal for you guys speaking 11 languages - but
for me it is a HUGE! ;)
Anyway. Did nothing fancy but reading, speaking, finding the right
association and loads of repetition.
All nouns were written in the indefinite article and all verbs in infinitive form.
Remembering all words and reading 1 entire page in Romanian without any kind of aid
"gav mig blod på tanden" (danish idiom)
"gave me blood on the tooth".
So right now I am writing another 150 flashcards with nouns (definite and plural) and
the verbs in the present tense (getting around all the four main conjugation.)

Hi there!
I'm trying to learn Romanian now. I actually speak it quite well.
But I still need some help with some grammar, so I would be really grateful if someone
helped me with that.
The most difficult part of Romanian for me is pronouns and cases. I wonder if anyone
studying Romanian experienced the same problems as I did and could master them. The
problems are with Cazurile Dativ si Acuzativ. There are 4 cases in Romanian
(well, 5 with Vocativ, but the latter is not a problem at all). In Russian, which is my
Mother tongue, there are 6 cases. And there are also Dative and Accusative, as well as
in Romanian. And generally, the idea of these two cases in both languages coincide. But
the problem starts when some nouns with some verbs are used in Russian in Accusative ,
but in Romanian their analogues are used in Dative. And vice versa. I'm trying to get
(to feel, I would even say) the underlying idea by reading a lot and putting particular
attention to those cases. And still without much success. So, if you can get an advice
on that, this would be great.
Another problem is using personal pronouns in Dativ and Acusativ. And mainly, what I
can't understand is when to use them and when not. I can't get the idea. In some
situations when I think there's no need at all in a certain pronoun it is used, and in
some other situations, when I think there must be a pronoun in Dativ or Acusativ
there's none.
These 2 problems really irritate me as I can't get the idea behind the way there're
used...

Hej Amoore,
I just visited your log. There is also some Danish written here, which makes this log interesting to read for me. Good luck with your Romanian language studies.
