aYa did not say "like", she said "enjoy". There is a big difference, as a stickler for meticulous accuracy like you should know.
Anyway, liking MT does not preclude liking or even enjoying good literature. MT is all form and no content, good literature is both form and content, as is L-R.

Thank you aYa and everyone else who is sharing their experience with L-R... I've
started (slowly for now until I get more time) trying out the method with Harry Potter
en espanol and I find it enjoyable. It is nice to log on and find answers and tips to
some of the questions I have been asking myself.

I find pera-pera kun a great pop up Japanese dictionary. It is available as an add-on
for Firefox.
