I'm slowly plugging away at Le Comte De Monte Cristo. I'm reading and listening in French.

I am a person who quite generally dislikes literature, whith only a few exeptions. So this influences my choice of reading.
Turkish is my target language, but I am not yet on the level to read orininal Turkish texts. But I have started collecting a Turkish magazine called "ekin" which is about the professional and private integration of Turkish people in the Netherlands and I intend to read in these magazines when I have reached an intermediate level in Turkish.
Magister, welcome back again in the forum! I have read the in Germany very popular book "Der Dativ ist dem Genitiv sein Tod" and I have got the game as well which belongs to this book. This book is quite funny and at the same time it trains the correct usage of the German language. My recommendation for people with an - at least - basic level (in forum language) of German.

I am about to finish "Les raisins de la Colere" (Grapes of Wrath) by John Steinbeck. Been quite slack with it really. I am also about halfway through HP1 in Spanish.

"Der Kleine Prinz" (The Little Prince/Le Petit Prince) for German. I finished Harry Potter in Chinese a while ago and am about to go through "The Power of One" by Bryce Courtenay.

"Arabia Felix I terrorns tid" by Eva Sohlman (An advanced level book)
I read one page then..break it down..then shadow it with speaking softly to myself
then read it again. It may take 10 minutes now to read one page where it use to take a half hour
