So far, the firm dates are: May 31 I fly into Frankfurt, June 19th I arrive in Munich (planning to attend the Munich version of "World Naked Bike Ride"), and July 2nd I need to be in Slovakia for the week-long Esperanto event ("SES").
I'll be in Sweden probably for August/September, and then back to Germany after that for a few months (probably Berlin for October - March). There's still a lot of room for further planning, for instance my Mom is saying that she wants to go to Munich with me for Oktoberfest.

On a more Swedish-related note, I just found a goldmine of Swedish youtube content. The user "vaknafan" has thousands of videos uploaded from the TV/Radio show "Vakna med The Voice". It's a couple of goofy radio hosts talking with Swedish music celebrities about inane topics, but it's great content for me. Tons of neat words, and a mix of accents.
I've been searching youtube for decent content for a while, but only found a few music videos here and there, so this is an exciting find :)

Still making good progress. 80000 words read in the last week, and 20 hours of listening. At this rate, I'll be finished my 3 novels before the deadline, so I'll probably end up reading parts of them more than once. That way I should be able to understand more the second time around.
The progress I've noticed so far is that I can now read ahead of the voice on the audiobook, so I can see the words slightly before they are vocalized. This means I have more time to process each word, and connect it with the sound. When I started, it was just a race to keep up and I wasn't able to look at all the words even after they were read out.
Everything feels much more comfortable now, and I'm moving into the area where I can pick up more words naturally, and also pick better words that actually need a dictionary lookup. I really wish I had been able to do this back in January, but oh well.

Are you coming to Stockholm? If so, perhaps we could meet and talk in various languages.
I can be reached at erik@tydligare.se.

Yes! I plan to spend at least a month in Stockholm. Currently, I plan to arrive in southern Sweden in early August, and I'll slowly make my way towards Stockholm. I'll probably get there around August 15th or so. I'll certainly contact you once I get close :)

If you happen to make stop in Visby (on Gotland), I'm one of the language geeks you can contact. :)

Great!
Perhaps my Esperanto will be good enough for conversation by then.
Hälsningar,
Erik
