I was born in Romania, but I came to the States at 1 and a half. I'm considered a native English speaker, but I have always understood Romanian. I never really thought about learning to write or read in Romanian until a couple of years ago.
I just came back from Romania and I feel that that has been a milestone in my learning. I understand and can speak a lot more than I used to, and now I can even read some.
I would like to know the forum's opinion here on what I should do to advance in my Romanian. I don't think I need to buy anything... Do I?

Read, read, read. Simple but it should be all you need if you are already pretty comfortable speaking the language.

The internet is full of free stuff in Romanian, including Romanian TVR - the only problem is that most Romanian internet sites are written without diacritics (with Wikipedia as a notable exception). And Google can luckily be limited to texts in Romanian.

I have the same problem, and there doesn't seem to be lot of material for advanced learners beyond B1 level. There are a couple of sites which I have found useful with grammar, listening and reading material and exercises
http://cnt.dnt.md/romint/undp/index.php
http://www.ilr.ro/apl.php?idap=12
http://granturi.ubbcluj.ro/autodidact/ro/manuale.html
Dictionaries

http://www.wordreference.com/
The best and most complete grammar is from this site

Text without diacritics really is a problem, especially for beginners and can prove to be a considerable hinderance to learning. Romanians seem to be quite lazy when it comes to using diacritics.
As Newyorkeric pointed out, you need to read, read, read but also speak, listen and write as much as possible, especially write if, as you say, you already understand and speak it quite well. I correspond with a couple of Romanians on forums and social networking sites, even Skype which has really helped me to learn. Also I'm friends with a Romanian family living locally here, I spend quite a lot of time with them and we always speak in Romanian, and that is how I've now managed to advance beyond the basics.

Order and read real books, not internet material. And keep a dictionary by your side while you do so.

Thank you for all of your suggestions, I will definitely look at through all of the websites and look for books online to help me.
Since Iversen brought up TV, does anyone know the show Te pui cu blondele? It's on Antena 1, and my dad and I watch it sometime (He translates a good chunk of it :P) You can tell that it is a Romanian game show (Compared to an English gameshow or something like that), and while watching it you can learn a lot from the trivia. I recommend watching it.
