I know its late but I'd like to announce a personal TAC Challenge in Japanese.
My status is close to intermediate, and I would like to gain upper proficiency in the
language.
Also I was wondering if its possible to join in teams for Korean and Chinese.
In both languages I'd be staring from absolute beginner.

Hi everyone,
It does seem to be a bit late indeed, but I'm planning on doing a log for this year and I'd be really happy if I could be in a team. I'm going to study Spanish and either Russian or German. I speak French and English fluently. It seems like this years TAC teams are monolingual, so if it's possible I'd like to be in either a Russian or German team, because my Spanish is more at maintaining level now. I'll focus on whichever of the two corresponds to my team. Thank you and cheers!
My current levels:
A2 in Russian
A very dusty B2 (so probably B1) in German
B2+ in Spanish
C2 in both French and English

The teams aren't really monolingual, they're just named based on the language that's shared by everyone in that group. So you don't need to focus on the language of your group.

joanthemaid, I've placed you on Team Я for Russian, as there is no more room on the German Team without having to create a new one. I hope this works for you.

Late reply, but I've been planning on joining.
My languages to study this year are Russian (primary) and Spanish (secondary), as well as
reviving my Dutch (tertiary).
Good luck everyone!

Fair enough, I expected it as I noticed how full the German teams were. Well, Russian is my weakest language so it should help me. Thanks for all your work, Ellasevia!
I would just like to know how to make a link between my name in the post on teams and my log?

I'm not sure if we Newbies are allowed to participate, but since I didn't find any rules stating otherwise I think I can ask to join you. I would love to participate on the team challenge, but I can see that most of teams are full so if it is the case I can do an indivial challenges as well. I hope you don't mind my post count, I don't like to post without a reason and it seems that TAC would be a good one. Anyway, in this year's TAC I will be studying French (from A1 to B2, possibly C1 since vocabulary is not a major problem here thanks to my mother language, Portuguese, which is pretty similar to French) and German which I'm a complete beginner. Oh! And happy New Year!
