I don't get the specific rules, but the main idea is awesome.

Gah, if only I was around here a bit earlier. Anybody want to form a team (yes *you*, I see you there. Put
down that beer and hop to it)? I'm doing Danish, Icelandic, and Czech at the moment (I'd prefer to work on
Icelandic or Czech), but what with the user scarcity lately, any language would be welcome. If not, I'll just
hold off until 2012's TAC and see what's in store then.

*fashionably late to the party*

Don't worry. Only 4.5 months and the TAC will be begun again :)

I think at this point it might be best to just wait until the next TAC since this one is already more than 60% over, and especially since there isn't really any team you could join with those languages at the moment. Until then, you could start making a plan for the coming year and begin to cultivate the good study habits that you'll be practicing during the TAC. If you'd really like to participate in the current one, though, I could add you in as an individual participant. Let me know. :)

This sounds like a great idea and hopefully I'll be able to participate in the next one for 2012!

Sorry to ask a question here, but does it have to be a language you've never had experience with? I would believe so, but just had to ask.

Nope. It can be a brand new language or one that you already speak well and want to improve even more. Your choice.

Can I open a main language log, not necessarily related to a year? I'd like to start a log here to motivate myself, but seeing as it's almost 2012, I don't know if it would be allowed.

My languages would be Modern Hebrew and Latin.
