Is it just me or do you learn languages supernaturally fast?
You'll speak six by the end of the year (probably sooner as you already know Dutch), I'm sure, plus for you this is probably the point where it starts getting much easier. Go former teammate!

PS; do you have a secret or is it just genetic?

Could be genetics, my father speaks 4 himself haha. But I dunno I just have a passion for them and for me it seems that learning them comes more natural than other stuff, or its just easier for me to learn them than to learn another subject I guess? I´m not sure.
You´re right though it gets easier the more you start to learn and especially when theyre the same family (Dutch-German, Spanish-French).
Although I can speak Russian, I still have plenty of mistakes so I don´t think I´m fluent in it or if I am it´s pretty basic, I don´t know if I could have a deep conversation about philosophy for example. Even my Spanish sometimes has a few small mistakes. The only ones I´d say where I never make a mistake and am fluent 100% are Dutch French English.

So I ended up giving a speech/toast on Sunday night, my friend was really impressed at how good of Russian it was. I was pretty nervous though haha, whole table full of native Russian speakers but it went well.

I´m still at it, and currently right now learning the dative case in my German class, its also making some aspects of Russian make more sense to me. By the end of this year I want to have an almost fluent ability in German, and really improve my Russian.
This summer I´m considering going to Moscow & St. Petersburg perhaps, but a little skeptical about going there alone. Otherwise I´ll be back in Holland as usual and go around Germany-Switzerland a bit, plus maybe some other places if I have the money and time.

I hope everyone else is still moving along!

Sorry for lack of updates but as usual, school is taking up all my time this semester!!!
