Anyone know some good Japanese acoustic artists?

the styles of music I enjoy are indie, folk, alternative, rock. So if you know any Japanese singer/song writers that play mainly acoustic I would be very grateful if you shared!! thanks

*edit * Thought maybe if i listed some English artists that it might help with finding something in japanese I like.

Not so much acoustic, but if you're into alternative stuff you should check out Supercar and their new spin-off
band Lama. Supercar kind of have a reputation as the Japanese Radiohead.

Shiina Ringo is also very cool, but her new stuff is moving steadily further toward jazz and big band music.

There's a massive indie scene in Japan once you manage to get past the nonsense that is J-Pop. I'm old
and wizened now so I don't know many new names, but you might also check out Shonen Knife and Seagull
Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her, who also get the prize for the greatest band name ever in the history of band
names.

Miyavi doesn't normally sing acoustic music, but this song is nice and might fit what
you're looking for.

Here's a track I've been obsessed with lately. From Shintaro Sakamoto of Yura Yura Teikoku fame.君はそう決めた ( You Just Decided )

Polaris, one of the many independent greats from the 90's has a lot sweet tunes written with that special summer vibe. Their bassist used to be in a legendary reggae/dub band by the name of Fishmans who soared to extraordinary heights in the 90's indie scene. Be sure to look up these guys when you get the chance.

Polaris / 光と影
Polaris - 流星
