Hello, first TAC for me as well.

My languages are two:
Mandarin
Indonesian

Mandarin
I've studied it in high school for a few years but it never grew on me and I was always impatient with my progress
in the language. Now I realize I didn't do much to learn the language and hoped that I could just absorb it
through class. My goal is to converse comfortably with a native Mandarin speaker over Skype and also be able to
comprehend young adult Mandarin novels and read through them without any dictionary or NL assistance.

Resources:
Everyday Chinese, Selected Prose Readings by Zhong Qin
Assimil Chinese with Ease.

Indonesian
I've only began picking through an older language textbook and going through the lessons the past two months
or so. My goal with Indonesian is the same as Mandarin except I don't know about Indonesian novels. I hope to
prepare myself for going to Bali next academic year.

Resources:
Bahasa Indonesia, Book One (Australian National University Press, 1977)
Indonesian Newspaper Reader
