This site is a very good place to start. They have dialogues with audio, grammar tables for reference, texts, games, videos. Very useful in my opinion.

Interesting. I've done Taste of Russian before and I didn't care for it. It was just to cutesy and basic for my taste. Better, if you're looking for audio and text is http://govoriporusski.com/podcasts They have a dialog at slow speed. Then they explain all of the challenging words. Then at normal speed. And the entire dialog text is on their web page.
Also similar and decent is Russian Language Pod.
Ochenporusski is on my list but I haven't listen to it yet.
I think I've tried, or have on my list to try just about all of the Russian podcasts out there.

it would be Interesting to get a way to "vote" on a Top Ten List (after getting a List together) of good Russian websites categorized by grammar, audio general Info. just to see what is useful.
i might have some time on my hands over the next 2 weeks. went back to university to finish my Russian Language degree (after dropping out some 36 years ago) 1 semester down, 1 more to go to graduate (which does not necessarily mean i am up to fluency, getting there) need someone to talk to.
anybody out there? po-russki

May I suggest www.sharedtalk.com if you're looking for a penpal and www.language-exchanges.org/ if you're looking for a speaking partner?
I've tried most of the penpal webpages and, in general, found these two are the best. Sharedtalk is nice if you want someone to practice writing with because the people there are expecting to write emails back and forth. Mixxer is good for Skype because that's its primary purpose. Don't try to switch the two though.)) As a native English speaker I'm sure you'll have TONS of people to choose from. I've really enjoyed it and it makes the language come alive (it's also improved my Russian by leaps and bounds).
