hmm, thanks for the infromative post.
hmm, well, I have tried to learn Zhuang before, and it has a lot of Chinese loans, unlike Thai which takes it from Pali.
Unofrutnately for Shan the learning materials are very scarce, there is an English language book written ... 100 years ago.
There are 3 mln of Shans, but there is no any decent textbook :(

For Shan, there is a large basic textbook, reader, dictionary etc available from Dunwoody Press.

Hi,

Does anybody know if the DLI Burmese courses listed at https://sites.google.com/site/soyouwanttolearnalanguage/burm ese , which are no longer available on http://eric.ed.gov/ , can be found somewhere else?
