Some of you may already have seen this video (the author, who currently teaches in Japan, follows AJATT; I found
it through following a blog link from one of the Tadoku participants), but I don't think there's been a post about
it in this forum.
http://vimeo.com/37198862
The author's blog, in which he explains the project: http://tomasusensei.blogspot.ca/2012/02/kanji-
project.html (Copy and paste the URL, deleting any extra spaces inserted by the forum software.) His following
blog entry also has more information on the project.
As Tom C. explains, the video, which documents his writing the eponymous Kanji to create Kanji "mosaics", took
a year to make, and included names of his friends and co-workers, among others. A fascinating, impressive,
inspiring, and just plain cool project!

Linguistically off-topic postscript, but this may also be of interest to any Kanji-writers:
If anyone else has, as I recently have, discovered the joys of Japanese pens, you might also like to check out this
North American source for Japanese (and other) pens:

True pen geeks may also be interested in http://www.penaddict.com/, a
blog which reviews fine pens. (The author is currently employed by Jetpens, but started his blog before he
landed the Jetpens gig.)
