Swedish course - Update
We're more than just half way through it, and we've got one more day to prepare ourselves for the
final test. I wouldn't say that I reached native fluency yet, because we just got the basics. But
it is a good basis which can be developed in the future. ;-)
We've learned to introduce ourselves, to talk about our daily life, to go shopping, to order
something (a room, a meal, a ticket), to describe pictures, etc. We learned the basic grammar:
pronouns, definite and indefinite articles in singular and plural (or let's say the nouns in all
forms), adjectives, adverbs, verbs, tenses, etc.
Social cohesion was not bad this time. In the past I had to make some bad experiences when going
to a course. Some of the participants didn't bring the stuff they needed, didn't do their
homework, didn't learn what they had to, etc. But this course was different. Everybody kept it
rolling and we did great progress. Of course there are still some of us who have some trouble with
spelling or verb forms, but for a crash course it's ok. The working atmosphere is great!
Unfortunately my timetable doesn't allow me to continue with the second course... I'll try to
work through the next book by myself. Hopefully I will be able to fit into the third course in
about a year.
@Fasulye & Josquin: Thanks for your posts!

Final test
Well, the course is over, the test was not so hard, and I guess I did pretty well.
Actually I expected to get the results by e-mail today, but that was not the case.
I will have to go through the next book by myself, because my timetable don't allow me to
enroll for the next Swedish course.

Unfortunately I cannot enroll for the next Swedish course, due to conflicting schedules -
same thing with the advanced Russian course. So I decided to enroll for a new language...
Any guesses? ;-)

Polish! ;)
Out of curiosity, which languages do you have to choose from? Btw I'm following your log, keep up the good work.
Edit: My second-guess is Turkish.

Might as well go for the other "obvious"(??) guess: Norwegian.
Backup guess: Icelandic. :-)
(Looked at your blog to get some clues, which did not help with guessing, but was interesting, nevertheless).
