The last 3 weeks have been very turbulent, and I spent so much time preparing for my
exams. Although I didn't achieve all my goals, I could at least keep the ball rolling.

In terms of language learning I didn't have any time left to do some proper, intensive
study so far. At this point, I'm not sure if I can reach a good level in less than one
month, in order to pass the placement test in Swedish. I'll try my best. Else, I'll have
to continue learning Swedish by myself.

Hej Mae!

It’s been a while since we’ve last heard from you here on the forum. I hope everything’s fine!

The Viking team seems to be stagnating at the moment, with very little going on across the various team members’ logs. But I’m sure I’m not the only Viking who’d be more than happy to read an update on your TAC.

Ha det så bra!
Emme

Hej Emme!
Thanks for posting! It has been crazy lately with all the work, preparing stuff for
university, etc. I couldn't start the 2nd Swedish course because of conflicting schedules
(30 minutes!). Now I'll have to go for the intensive course in September, starting
preparation in July.
Looking forward to see some of you guys at the Polyglot Conference in May :-)
It's a shame I couldn't do as much as I wanted, but I definitely want to be fluent in
Swedish by the end of the year! Even if I'm the last Viking standing ;-)

Hej Mae,

Sorry to hear you've been so busy, and sadly I can't make the polyglot conference due to
more pressing studies here, but you'll get there!

Hey guys!!!

Sorry for being away for so long! As you might have read via Twitter or FB, I've been
to Budapest, being part of the very first Polyglot Conference. What can I say? It was
a blast getting to know so many people I've been in contact with for so long, but
never seen IRL. It was great!!!
I've spoken to so many different people, it's hard to name them all. Just to name a
few: poliglotta80, Torbyrne, m32amir, Sprachprofi, Iwwersetzerin, Susanna, Robert,
and of course FluentCzech! His talk was hilarious and unique, showing that we all
can learn from each other, polyglots and "polynots" working together.

The next conference will take place in Northamerica in 2014. Keep checking the
Polyglot Conference's website (polyglotconference.org) to learn about the details.
We all came back from Budapest with many new ideas, we are still energized and feeling
the need to meet again. So keep your eyes open, as there are many things happening
right now, and there will be different meetups in the future.

Thanks for reading my log! (BTW, this log is still not shown in my profile...)

Don't worry bout the log, it's just a software bug I'm assuming.

I was scheduled to go but had to cancel, which bums me the hell out, but I'll get another
chance. I believe Sprachprofi wanted to organise one in Berlin which is purr-fect for me.
