A French or Canadian lover, hehe. I mean the only time I had any interest in French was when I had a crush on an exchange student from France (who was learning Russian!). Overall, I'm not interested and I don't like the sound of the language. But it sounds like you've done a fantastic job and I'm happy for all the learners that will benefit from this - and for you of course.
It's like, my cousin has to study French at school and I'm more enthusiastic about it than he is himself. It will be damn cool if he reaches fluency one day. I went out of my way to find the required materials asap because anyone who's learning a language gets bonus points from me, even if I don't like that language myself. Maybe one day my cousin will be able to use your course:)

Oh man oh man oh man. If I buy this will I be able to understand the songs by Lisa Leblanc?
Better formulated question: How far will the course take me?

Congratulations on getting this course published, it looks really good. I'd been telling myself, "No more Romance languages until I bring Spanish and Italian to a solid B2 level" but I will probably buy this course as soon as I can spare $25.

Québécois is possibly my least favourite version of French, but congratulations on
getting the book published, Arekkusu!

Ari, I just looked at her lyrics, and I'd say my course covers almost all of what I saw. She's actually Acadian, but these lyrics are mostly Québécois with a few English expressions (like "laisser aller" for "let go", or "faire sûr" for "make sure", which you'll figure out on your own). Her accent is otherwise slightly different, particularly R and nasal vowels.
Ari -- without this course, ta vie, c'est d'la marde ;)
Generally, my course covers the vast majority of the grammar you'll find in a typical Québécois movie. Of course, vocabulary can never be entirely covered, but the base is there. All introduced topics and words are listed in an index at the end which contains a bit over 450 entries and which can be used as a dictionary.

Congratulations on finishing and publishing the book. Sounds like something that could be useful to me when my French is at a higher level. :-)

I have just ordered it and can hardly wait to get it. Well done Arekkusu. I think you are filling a big void. Is it too early to ask if there will be a sequel?

Thanks for your support, tommus!
It's not too early to ask, but it's too early to answer ;) There might be another bigger version down the road, or
say an additional five lessons, but not for another year or two, if ever. Depending on the success of the book,
I might consider writing an English version for beginners, but I have yet to find an elegant way to do that. Of
course, if it doesn't sell, all this is unlikely to happen.
