Assimil introduced the phrase "jag skulle vilja ..." (= I'd like to ...). Is this still used or would you phrase it differently these days? I haven't come across this in real life yet. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

How is it used in the course? What comes after, object or verb?

Assimil Swedish 29-31
The lessons are getting longer... Like in Assimil Danish, there are lots of mistakes (typos) in the texts. This really shouldn't happen in a book for language learners. And the audio is horrible. I really like Skånska, but this woman sounds very annoying and old. And then the guy who speaks through his nose... Actually, I don't think that "Jag skulle vilja..." is as common as "Jag vill...", but it isn't outdated, overly formal or anything like that. (Funnily enough, I just wrote it on Skype)
As for the mistakes/typos/audio, I haven't seen (or listened to) the course, but I remember having seen the occasional oddity in some of my courses (German, French or Spanish). 1 person has voted this message useful | |
